Please be advised that a 1555 Garage elevator is out of service.

As a result, you may experience slower than usual elevator service for the Parking Garage during this time. 

The Schindler elevator technicians are on site and are working on the problem. 

In the meantime, the stairwell is available for your use.

It is our hope to have everything operational as soon as possible.

Mardi Gras Bead Donation

Don’t know what to do with all of those beads collected from Mardi Gras festivities? Tired of boxing up beads with plans to use them next year only to find yourself with even more beads taking up space in your attic? Well, The Joy Activity Center of St. Michael’s Special School is asking for your beads.

The Joy Activity Center is part of St. Michael’s Special School. The center is a place where many of the graduates of St. Michael’s turn to for employment after graduation. One of the annual projects for the young adults working at the center is the sorting, counting and bundling of beads to be sold. All proceeds from the sale of the beads benefit the school.

To make donating easy, beginning February 21^st  through March 15^th , the Management Team of 1515/1555 Poydras Buildings will place a box in the lobbies of each building for you to drop off your unwanted beads. Once all donations have been received members of building management will deliver the beads to the Joy Activity Center of St. Michael’s Special School.

1515 Cooling Systems Repairs Reminder

1515 February 22 thru 25, 2013

Annual Preventative Maintenance to the Building’s main Cooling Systems have been scheduled (weather permitting) for this weekend. 

1515 Friday, February 22^th at 6:00pm through Monday, February 25^th at 5:00am

***Please note that this includes no Saturday normal building hours as well.***

Air conditioning and overtime HVAC requests will not be provided to the Building during the scheduled repair times identified above.

IMPORTANT NOTE… all tenant supplemental units will remain operational during this period and will not be affected during this shutdown.

This planned outage is part of our ongoing preventative maintenance procedures to ensure reliable and efficient operation of the building’s main Cooling System.

We recommend that if you have a supplemental unit that it is serviced after our maintenance is completed, this will help for you to have efficient and reliable operation of your air conditioning equipment.

Members of the Royal Parking team will be in the lobby at 1515 Poydras on Thursday, 2/21/13 and the lobby of 1555 Poydras on Friday, 2/22/13 between 7am and 9am both days to assist with any questions you may have.
