On Tuesday, January 4th, the 1515 & 1555 Parking Garage will accommodate public parking up until 3:00 pm. 

After 3:00 pm, both garages will be open to public/event parking

at a cost of $25.00.

Tenant Advisory

Please be advised that Monday, December 27, 2010, tentatively from 7 am until 6 pm, we will be conducting a Fire Sprinkler System Test at our 1515 & 1555 Poydras Street Buildings.  There will be audio voice evac and strobes throughout the duration of the testing.  An announcement will be made before testing starts and once it has been completed. 

 Access to suites may be necessary.

There is no need to evacuate during testing.

Since the actual holidays fall on a Saturday, the Management Office requests that your firm schedule all Saturday hours in advance for anyone that will work either Saturday.

AS YOU BEGIN TO PLAN FOR THE UPCOMING HOLIDAYS, PLEASE NOTE FOLLOWING IS THE BUILDINGS’ POLICY ON CHRISTMAS TREES AND DECORATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THOSE OF THE STATE FIRE MARSHALL’S POLICY FOR COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS.

 Artificial Trees: must be labeled as flame retardant.

Approved electrical (UL listed) lighting is permitted.

Live Trees: acceptable ONLY IF TREATED WITH FLAME RETARDANT FLOCKING

material and approved electrical (UL listed) lighting is permitted. 

Tag must be attached to the tree.

Live Untreated Tree: only acceptable if installed for less than three (3) weeks total...and

NO ELECTRICAL LIGHTING IS PERMITTED.

If you plan to display a Christmas tree in your office this year, please call our office so our engineers can verify that the above requirements are in place.

Then when the glitter is off the holidays and it's time to dispose of your tree,

it is your firm’s responsibility to have the tree removed.

You may make advanced arrangements with our office for the removal of your tree for a fee of $50.00.

Also, please remember as cooler weather approaches that space heaters are not allowed as they also present a fire hazard and overload circuits. We will certainly work with you and your staff to resolve any issues to maintain a comfortable working environment.



Boil Water Order Lifted

We would like to advise you all that that even though the Boil Water Order has been lifted in New Orleans, we still should take the proper precautions before using your filtration systems and ice makers.  We recommend flushing your water filtration system and dumping the ice out of your ice makers before putting them to use again.

If not flushed out of the water system, such contaminants in the water can cause illnesses including nausea and diarrhea.

Thursday, November 25, 2010 is a building holiday in observance of Thanksgiving.  No building services will be provided.  Air conditioning can be ordered through our office on an overtime basis, as outlined in your lease agreement.  If you plan to work on Thanksgiving Day and need air conditioning, please notify our office at (504) 585-2670 by 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2010.  We will make the appropriate arrangements to provide the services you will need on that day.

Friday, November 26, 2009, the Management Office will be closed.  Building services, excluding the shuttle bus service, will be provided until 6:00 pm.  If assistance is needed on those days, please call the Management Office phone number (504) 585-2670 and press 0 to speak with the courtesy officer.

It’s a great way to fight breast cancer.

All you need to do is wear pink and have fun every Friday in October and help support the life-saving work of Susan G. Komen for the Cure^® by making a donation. Together, we can help fund critical breast cancer research, as well as local education, screening and treatment programs that impact people in our community. We will go Passionately Pink by wearing pink on Fridays.

Starting next week, we will be selling Pink Awareness Bracelets

in the management office thru the end of October.

This is a great opportunity to market your firm's services to all of your fellow tenants, our daily visitors and vendors.  Have you ever wondered what type of service the tenant down the hall offers?  Well, here is your chance to network, make good connections and find out! 

The Expo will be held in each lobby from

Blood Drive - October 20th

Save a Life.

Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. will be hosting a Blood Drive on Wednesday, October 20, 2010.  The Blood Drive will be held in the 1515 building in the 5^th Floor Auditorium. 

Why Donate Blood?

A continuous supply of blood is essential to meet the needs of patients in Southeastern Louisiana hospitals.  Every 3 seconds, someone needs blood.  One out of every three people will need blood before the age of 72.  Help make sure this lifesaving component is there for you and your loved ones.  A steady stream of donors is always needed. Remember…blood is only available because volunteer blood donors believe that giving blood is very much worth their time.  In addition, the donor gains a good feeling from knowing that his/her donation can save lives.

Remember to bring a picture ID when you donate blood.  Eat a good meal first and drink lots of fluids.  You must be feeling well…no cold, sore throat, or flu symptoms.  Also, know what kind of medicine you are on.  For further information, please see the attached Blood Donor Deferral Guideline Sheet.

1555 - Electrical Shutdowns

An electrical service shutdown has been scheduled for the following dates and times to perform preventative maintenance repairs

to our existing electrical systems on the following floors:

Saturday, October 2, 2010

6:00 AM-5:00 PM - floors 8 & 9

&

Friday, October 8th at 6:00 PM thru

Sunday, October 10th at 12:00 Noon – floors 8 & 9

The electrical system is to be restored as soon as possible.

During this time, there will be only emergency lighting throughout these floors.

We recommend that all computers and telephone systems are shutdown prior to this scheduled outage to avoid any problems.
