Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. will be hosting a
Blood Drive tomorrow, Tuesday, September 27, 2011.

Donors will receive a t-shirt plus blood coverage and a cholesterol test.
Blood Drive
Tuesday, September 27th
10:00 am – 4:00 pm
5th Floor Auditorium @1515 Poydras
***One donation saves 3 lives!***

Remember to bring a picture ID when you donate blood.
Eat a good meal first and drink lots of fluids.  You must be feeling well…no cold, sore throat, or flu symptoms.
Also, know what kind of medicine you are on.  For further information, please see the attached Blood Donor Deferral Guideline Sheet.

Why Donate Blood?

A continuous supply of blood is essential to meet the needs of patients in Southeastern Louisiana hospitals.
Every 3 seconds, someone needs blood.  One out of every three people will need blood before the age of 72.
Help make sure this lifesaving component is there for
you and your loved ones.
A steady stream of donors is always needed.
Remember…blood is only available because volunteer blood donors believe that giving blood is very much worth their time.
In addition, the donor gains a good feeling from knowing that his/her donation can save lives.

We look forward to your excellent support for this blood drive.

The New Orleans area is currently watching the expected tropical system in the Gulf of Mexico.  Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is closely monitoring this tropical system that has strengthened this afternoon into a Tropical Storm Lee south of the Louisiana coast…heavy rain bands continue to spread across much of southeastern and south-central Louisiana.

Since this tropical system is expected to produce heavy rain with the potential for flooding in our metro area, please keep in mind that  the Parking Garage is not a safe haven for vehicles and should not be utilized for this purpose.  Access to the Garages will be limited and access to the Parking Garage will not be a priority before, during or immediately after any emergency.  In addition, the 1555 Parking Garaqe is closed this weekend for Phase II of the 1555 Poydras Mechanical Retrofit.

Be on alert! The strength and path of these types of weather systems can quickly change. Since Tropical Storm Lee will affect our area over the weekend, we strongly encourage your firm to pay close attention to the news and government agencies for tropical storm updates.  In addition, we recommend that each tenant re-familiarize yourself with your firm’s hurricane / business interruption plan and continue to monitor the status of the storm. In addition, please review our Building Emergency Preparedness Plan.

JLL will continue monitoring the tropical storm and determine if further advisories are warranted.

We appreciate your support and cooperation in helping to insure the safety of all tenants of the building.  Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Management Office at 504-585-2670.
