Fire Extinguisher Training

 Thursday, October 20th at 10:00am
7th Floor 1555 Parking Garage

TO OPERATE: If you use a fire extinguisher remember the word PASS.
PULL…Pull the pin.
Some extinguishers require releasing a latch or pressing a puncture lever.
AIM… Aim low, pointing the extinguisher nozzle
(or its horn or hose) at the base of the fire.
Squeeze… Squeeze the handle. This releases the extinguishing agent.
SWEEP… Sweep from side to side at the base of the fire until it appears to be out. Watch the fire area in case fire breaks out again, and repeat the use of the extinguisher if necessary.

Please remember it is your responsibility to have your fire extinguishers inspected annually per NFPA code.

If we may be of assistance, please contact the management office at (504) 585-2670.

Thursday, October 6, 2011

An electrical service shutdown has been scheduled for the following date and time to perform preventative maintenance repairs to our existing electrical systems
in both the 1515 and 1555 Poydras Buildings.

Saturday, October 15th from
12:00 Noon until 12:00 AM

The electrical system will be restored as soon as possible. This means there will be no power to the buildings during this time, except for emergency lighting throughout the building as well as the operation of one elevator in each bank and garage elevators.

We recommend that all computers, supplemental air conditioners and telephone systems are shutdown prior to this scheduled outage to avoid any problems with these systems.

If you have any questions contact
Nathan Lomonaco at 585-2662.
