In observance of the Mardi Gras holiday, the 1515 & 1555 Poydras Buildings will be closed on, Tuesday, February 12, 2013.

No building services will be provided on this date.  Air conditioning can be ordered through our office on an overtime basis, as outlined in your lease agreement.

If you plan to work on Mardi Gras and need air conditioning, please notify our office at 585-2670, by 12:00pm on Monday, February 11th.

Visitor and Management System Notice - Update

Tenant Notice
You have spoken, we have listened!

The Management Team of 1515/1555 Poydras Buildings has delayed the requirement to scan drivers’ licenses as a method for tenants to scan in and out after hours until March 1, 2013. This delay is related to tenants of 1515/1555 Poydras ONLY. All vendors, contractors and after hour visitors will continue with the current process of having to scan in their drivers’ licenses upon entering and leaving the buildings.
In working with the Visitor & Tenant Management System software, we are pleased to announce that information gathered from your scanned license has now been updated to read only the name on a license.  No other information will be gathered. A possible alternative to scanning a driver’s license, is to utilize your company id that has a magnetic strip or a bar code. In order for us to determine if this option can work, we ask that your tenant contact submit to the Management Office an active id, so that the id type can be entered into the system to find out if the program can accept your firm’s id card. The active id will be returned within a week or sooner if it is determined that it will or will not work for the system.  Please coordinate with our office if you elect to see if your id is an option.
Reminder any information obtained is kept secured and confidential. This information is strictly used for verification of sign ins and outs. Jones Lang LaSalle protects the privacy of this information and will not share any personal data; nor will collected information be distributed.
Thank you again for your cooperation in helping us provide another avenue to improve upon the security at 1515 and 1555 Poydras.

Super Bowl Road Closure Updates

Super Bowl Road Closure Update
February 6, 2013


The Management Office has received the following information from NFL Game Day Transportation regarding the current road closures:
RIVER BOUND POYDRAS STREET SHOULD OPEN BY 7:00PM TONIGHT, FEBRUARY 6, 2013.
The Poydras exit ramp will open with the opening of Poydras river bound.
The Super Dome exit in the rear of the dome will open at 3pm for the Hornets GAME, but will close again after the game for an undetermined amount of time.  Once we have a time for that exit, we will advise accordingly.

1515/1555 Cooling System Repairs

Annual Preventative Maintenance to the Building’s main Cooling Systems have been scheduled (weather permitting) for the following two weekends in February. 

1555 Friday, February 15th at 6:00pm through Monday, February 18nd at 5:00am
1515 Friday, February 22th at 6:00pm through Monday, February 25th at 5:00am
***Please note that this includes no Saturday normal building hours as well.***

Air conditioning and overtime HVAC requests will not be provided to the Building during the scheduled repair times identified above.

IMPORTANT NOTE… all tenant supplemental units will remain operational during this period and will not be affected during this shutdown.

This planned outage is part of our ongoing preventative maintenance procedures to ensure reliable and efficient operation of the building’s main Cooling System.

We recommend that if you have a supplemental unit that it is serviced after our maintenance is completed, this will help for you to have efficient and reliable operation of your air conditioning equipment.

1555 Fire Alarm Test

Please be advised that we will be conducting a test of the fire alarm system at 1555 Poydras.  The testing is as follows:

Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 9:00AM, Tulane Facilities along with Siemens Building Tech & Sotec Vendors will be testing the 14th floor suppression system.

There will be an audio voice evacuation and strobes throughout the duration of the testing. 
An announcement will be made before testing starts and once it has been completed.
You do not need to evacuate.
