Benefit for Breast Cancer Research & Education
Want to be a part of history?
Look out of your window. That is, if you are on the Poydras St. side of the building. Today the Guinness World Record crew will be at the Superdome to measure the World’s Largest King Cake!
Haydel’s Bakery has teamed up with the Saints to create a king cake so huge that it's supposed to wind twice around the Superdome! We, the public that is, are invited to participate.
Go to http://www.haydelbakery.com/ or call 504.837.0190 to order tickets for the event. Slicing begins at noon today and goes until 3:00 pm!
All of this excitement is actually a fundraiser in which all of the proceeds will benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research and education.
